Back in 2005 I when I came to know about Blogging, I started looking out for a few interesting blogs in the 'blogosphere'. This lead a decision that changed my life's course.
I started my own blog back then on Blogger (a free blog hosting service). It was a Jokes Blog called Top Jokes Blog.
Through this blog I learnt the ways of earning money through blogging, what is SEO and how to attract visitors to your blog or site. Slowly my jokes blog grew in popularity and I started to spend more time on blogging than ever before. After about a year I got exhausted with my Jokes dictionary and started to loose interest in it even though I was making a small amount of money through it.
In 2006 I started another blog and this time I decided I would not blog about just one topic in it. I started lifeOmaniac in which I just blogged about my life and a few posts on the things that interested me in the tech world. Back then lifeOmaniac did not have a good reader base and wasn't even noticed in the huge blogosphere. Now lifeOmaniac has a somewhat wide user base and is ranked well on various ranking sites. It now covers a diverse range of topics such as Current Affairs, Internet & Technology, apart from chronicling my life; though I do not dedicate much time now on it after I founded NextPlug.in
NextPlug.in was India's first blog network and one of the world's first and only single-domain blog network.
By now, I was blogging professioanlly on a few blogs including corporate blogs. I have had the priviledge to guest post on many blogs too.
As a blogger too I gained many windows in the blogosphere. I have been featured on many blogging sites and all this helped me gain exposure which in turn helped me gain a few readers for my blog.
After this I decided to go mainstream in the Internet by founding hck.innovations. Today, hck.innovations runs two innovative web properties namely hck.in forums and PaidToReg.com. Proudly, hck.innovations has excelled in creating & running web properties since ‘06. Redefining Innovation, Creativity & Passion.
From the time I started blogging till now, I learnt a lot from it. I learnt how to write good content, how to do blog marketing, how to optimize blogs and sites for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and many other interesting things. Basically it helped me to make a good place for myself in the huge and ever growing blogosphere.
